I need to find a convertible car seat for my son who will fit in the 99 Ford Mustang. Buying a new car out of choice now so we have to make due. She is 2 pounds away from what the max weight for the baby. Any suggestions?

I think you're supposed to wait until 1 year and 20 pounds .... but he's 18 pounds and more than 25 inches long. Sticks his foot out of the carseat, and he's really heavy.
